Sam Bahr has been a trainer at the Apple Store for two years, and calls Tulsa, OK, home. She is excited to help build the community she has found with the Community of Christ Young Adults. In her free time she enjoys listening to music and embroidering.
Caitlin d'Esterre has been attending camps since the age of 8, starting at Hills of Peace in Alberta. She has been a counselor for several years now and this will mark her fourth year as camp nurse. Thanks to Alfredo and Rachelle taking a chance on 'importing' a nurse from Alberta, Caitlin has become a part of this incredible community.
Caitlin took 2.5 years of a Political Science degree before switching to a Bachelor of Nursing in 2012. When being a 'regular nurse' Caitlin works at the Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in Calgary, Alberta. In this setting she takes care of small, fragile and sick babies and their families. Although there are some very rough days, the best part of the job is sending a baby home with their parents to live a long, happy life.
Caitlin recently got married to her awesome husband Tanner, and they have two cats at home. They are big movie buffs, enjoy boisterous rounds of board games, and love any excuse to gather with good friends and good food!
Caitlin is really excited to direct the nursing/first aid team this summer and continue on with the mentoring that began with several staff last summer. Remember boys and girls: no front flips on the slip 'n slide!!!
My name is Michi Elwell. I live in Edmond, Oklahoma with my husband Jerry Elwell, and we have two children, Titus and Juno. Past occupations have been with the Air Force and coaching gymnastics. I am currently a stay-at-home mom. Community of Christ is the church I grew up in and I have had the wonderful opportunity of communicating with Alf about the Community Space creation. We coordinated so I could send Shelby Moses to Canada to gain a perspective and experience it. I am glad to help out wherever I can to implement better communication and grow a closer community in our Oklahoma Mission Center Community of Christ with the help of this program. One program I was able to initiate was the young adult devotions on the second and fourth Mondays of each month. We are also wanting to launch the Community Space services within our mission center along with inviting others to join as they like.

Shelby Moses is a graduate from the University of Oklahoma, where she studied Biology. Recently, Shelby became alternatively certified through a national non-profit education organization. She now teaches Forensic Science and Biology to 9th-12th graders at East Central High School in Tulsa, OK. The one things she loves most is working with students and seeing them discover their true, life changing potential. She also enjoys creating positive relationships that the students will always remember. Translating this type of work into her church ministry, she serves in the office a teacher. Relationships and Connecting are very important, and a large faith builder in her life. The top ways she enjoys connecting is over a meal or a cup of tea. Shelby's side hobbies include walking her dog, watching sitcoms, and traveling. Being raised in the Community of Christ, she was able to meet many people in her travels. So, her favorite part of being in the Community of Christ became the ability to travel the world, and always having a church family close by
